ten in the series finds our Bob-Whites at home.
The Wheeler’s are entertaining a child prodigy, violinist Gaye Hunya,
her manager and Aunt Della Crandall and maid, Mitzi. Oh and Mr. Poo, Gaye’s poodle. The violinist is on tour and one of her stops
is Sleepyside where she is a guest at Manor House. Before we know it, the precocious child is missing
and the Bob-Whites are hot on her trail.
Adding to the mix is Trixie and Honey’s quest to explore Martin’s Marsh
in search of wildflowers, herbs and such for Trixie’s botany class. Combined with a hotshot reporter from the
Sleepyside Sun and the marsh’s sole occupant, Miss Rachel, makes the adventure
more entwined and exciting. Fortunately,
as always, things turn out and Trixie celebrates her 14th birthday.
